In the afternoon, the AC considered the periodic review of species included in Appendices I and II as well as the report of the intersessional working group on the periodic review of species included in Appendices I and II. Species reported on included the African lion, two puma species, helmeted honeyeater, Coxen’s fig parrot, hooded parrot, Norfolk boobook, tuatara species, Indochinese box turtle, Vietnamese pond turtle and the now-thought extinct Sampson's pearly mussel species. Several working groups were established, which will meet starting Tuesday morning. |
